Anybody who says they don't care for VR hasn't tried it.

1. Nobody ever better use YouTube as a source 2. Never quote yourself for facts 3. All your sub discussions are garbage as well. Where did you get your data 0/10 gaming cancer

Xbox One isn't dying at all. It is absolutely dead already. MS finally getting what they deserve for ruining Halo makes me happy. The day MS pulls Xbox out of production will truly be a cause for celebration because Halo will then be sold to the superior company (Sony).
-
Anymore bumps, anyone? (:
-
Xbox isn't dying. For it to die then it wouldn't be making enough money which means it wouldn't exist within a year. It will still be here. Vr has the potential to be absolutely -blam!-ing amazing but it will take better technology or a huge price tag or both. It will be interesting what vr will be like in 10 years.
-
Its too early to judge VR, it is too expensive for the average gamer and there is not much in terms of games for it. But wait 2 years when they reduced the cost and improved the hardware and have more software available then we should judge if it is just a gimmick or not, just wait till 2018. Xbox is dying? Why? It might be behind Sony in terms of sales but it is still making a profit, so no it is not dying and thinking that is stupid.
-
Xbox isn't dying. Since the start Xbox was priced higher which lead to poor sales. Sony picked up Call of Duty which has a huge fan base. Only reason why Sony is selling better.
-
Xbox is doing just fine I have a virtual boy, no need for VR
-
Xbox isn't even close to dying Halo was in the X-games with a 2mil prize pool PS just has more sales because of kids
-
Vr is like kinect, they make it sound and look awesome, but in the end you rarely use it or forget about it.
-
VR Kinect games virtual boy
noticing a pattern?
VR is just like 3D. It never made it HUGE because nobody cared enough to make it huge. Most gamers like myself want to sit and use their thumbs to play. Do I want to stand up and whip my head around to turn? No because I'm facing a TV that I paid a small fortune to stair at. I'm sure there are may others out there that want to be immersed in a world like VR, but honestly something like Destiny or some other FPS is not something I want to be playing.
-
I think VR will be a thing for gamers who like FP more then anything so CoD, BattleField, Skyrim, Fallout, etc etc fans will be all for it but VR wont really benefit 3rd person or over the shoulder 3rd person player. But VR will without a doubt be amazing for gaming
-
Xbox is on a decline, but it won't ever die. Microsoft has too much money to throw at consumers with good-will before they let that happen. You'll see even more price cuts and added functionality that is more pro consumer, than good business. VR will take off once everyone has a friend that owns one and lets them try it out with a cool game.

Anymore bumps, anyone? (:

VR isn't going to be a very big thing with the majority of consumers until it has had some time on the shelves and a lot more marketing. So the fact that only so many percentage of gamers know about it isn't surprising to me. At least that's what I think. The added fact that a VR set costs just as much as a console will likely turn the average consumer away from purchasing one. I believe this will be the technology's biggest hurdle if it wants to be successful. If it can't rake in enough money, I get the feeling support will drop for it faster than one can blink.
-
Vr? I don'd need vr, vayyyy expensive lol. Xbox is stil alive. Vr wil fail, they wil loose huge money drops.
-
Caring or not, VR has outlived the life of a fad, and is not a product companies are dedicating themselves to. Despite the high price point now for everything, many still own a VR headset of some kind, even the Google cardboard or Gear VR.
-
Botcon is dying tho ;-; RIP Botcon

I don't care at all for VR. And I don't see how the xbox one is dying. It just happened to be outsold in the start because of the things they were claiming before it was released. Also the fact they made you buy a kinect with it making it $100 more expensive than the ps4 killed their sales. Phil Spencer is doing a lot and working on making the xbox great again.
-
I definitely care about VR, I have an Oculus Dk2 and its awesome. My official version is on preorder. Can't wait! There aren't that many games so it is sort of niche, but man I played Alien Isolation and Elite Dangerous on my dk2 and it is mind blowing! It without a doubt isn't a gimmick, but I do believe it will remain a niche market. Unfortunately the types of games that work best on the rift aren't very popular to begin with. Adventure games, sims, exploration games, those work best. But an FPS, not so much. It really will be a time will tell, but if nothing else I suspect the cost will keep it niche market for a while to come. But me personally, I'm super excited!

Xbox one is a console I don't think it can die...

VIRTUAL BOY 2.0!

I genuinely feel bad for anyone who purchases a ps4.5. Then again if you've got the ability to throw money around like that you probably haven't a clue on what value is. I'm fine sticking with my Xbox one till a new system with a massive improvment comes years down the road. And really. Ps4 isn't much more powerful the then x1. Specs prove it. Go look at the game called black desert online. And how Amazing it looks and complex. Now see that both the minimum requirements and recommended ones are worse then what both current hardware/software of the ps4/Xbox one have. It's about knowing how to optimize what your given.
