I got asked what is warlocks best role in a raid
I replyed with dying. They are good at dying...

Ok so after 100 comments or so I have concluded that warlock are useful at crota by cheesing the totems by dying... and they helped in VoG by um... dying BUT let's be fair here when you play as a warlock self res is a thing for them so dying is only natural for them as it shows of thair best contribute.
Now you may even say that they create orbs, well so do hunters with shadow shot mixed with light of the pack enabled witch even goes as far as to Holt adds and create a damage buff for not only themselves but also the rest of the fireteam.
So in short I'm not hating on warlocks I'm just simply stating what thair only use is.

Warlock equals worst support class if not uselesd. Litterally it's only dieing that were useful. Any high risk activity send a lock in. Really any class can do it it's just more forgiving when a warlock -blam!- up.

1 ReplyMeh kinda true. On the echo phase on oryx i always try to take the aggro on the shade cuz if i die i can just self rez Usually as soon as i pull myself back up i get teleported back in and we kill it quick as funk

1 ReplyThat's because all non Warlocks expect (some even demand) you to run Sunsinger all the time. At the totems I can throw shitloads of Novabombs. At Golgoroth I can kill all those Taken guys or even hold the gaze and kill the taken at the same time with the stormtrance. At sisters kill all the adds in the middle with ease. At Oryx create shitloads more orbs by novabombing tethered enemies. All this while random fireteam members complain about me not switching to a Sunsinger. Only thing a sunsinger is good for in the KF raid is taking the hit from the shade if you have people in your team that somehow can't dodge that huge -blam!-er flying at you at cruising speed. Maybe creating orbs at Totems just popping your radiant skin Radiance every time you go to the middle. And talking about using our supers as a crutch. I'd like to see you people complete the raid without your precious bubbles and tethers.

depends what raid... In Crota..they are perfect to cheese the bridge ....I agree by dying ;-) In VOG they were .... good at dying ...lol and rez ofc ;-) In KF they are good at ... grabbing Oryx attention in the bubble and sacrificing...dying ;-) LOL
