[b]Above the Dojo in high orbit, the [i]Eclipse[/i] floats silently in the void. Lights begin to turn on, portals begin opening in its hull, and along its sides the MACs begin to cycle up. Inside its hangars, dropships full of Marines begin to lift off inside the hangar.
In the bridge, First Officer Mike Heneke turns to TAC Officer Susan Wolf.[/b]
"Directive 37 is in effect as of now. Begin the first wave."
"Yes ma'am."
[b]The order is passed down to the pilots of the dropships, and soon 30 dropships each carrying a thousand Marines in full battle armor launch into the atmosphere.[/b]
[u]On the Surface....[/u]
[b]Shadow points upwards while a crooked smile grows.[/b]
"Boom."
[b]Overhead, a barrage of sonic booms blast through the air as the dropships begin to descend all around the Dojo, protected by their impeller wedges*
Armored Marines begin to spill out as soon as the transports near the ground, some climbing into 20-to-30 foot mechanical battle titans while others begin the main assault.[/b]

[b]Your fur scorches from the energy sword, but you manage to make the titan stumble a bit. Firing his thrusters, he takes the weight off of it for him to land a kick on you, sending you flying.[/b]

*He swings his sword backwards to stop himself in midair. He lands upright.* "I actually quite enjoy flying through the air." *He throws his sword at the same knee joint. It stops spinning and then seems to accelerate as it travels through the air.*

[b]The titan adjusts his blade and knocks yours aside, the energy sword beginning to heat your blade.[/b]

*The katana starts to fly hilt-first back to Sketch.*

[b]The Titan, sensing an opportunity, dashes forwards and swipes his sword at waist-height, trying to cleave you in two.[/b]

*He jumps over the sword energy sword. It cuts off a small portion of the bottom of his duster and his tail catches on fire. He catches his sword and swings it as hard as he possibly can. The blade glances off the armor but the wind is strong enough to push the Titan back a little. He is unaware his tail is still on fire.*

[b]The Titan rocks back, firing his thrusters a bit to stabilize. Sidestepping, he spins to build up momentum and sends a wave of energy at you with his sword.[/b]

*He gets blown back by the energy, he lands on the ground slightly dazed. He notices his flaming tail right next to him and starts running around.* "NOTAGAINNOTAGAINNOTAGAINNOTAGAINNOTAGAINNOTAGAIN..."

[b]As you pass the Titan, he lightly taps you on the head, knocking you out before spraying your tail with a foam, putting it out. Marines surround your unconscious body and put you in anti power cuffs before taking you to one of the dropships. They leave you in one of the cells on board.[/b]

*Wakes up.* "Where am I?" *He looks around his cell.*

[b]You are in a metal room. A small bunk is set into the wall, but nothing else is apparent.[/b]

*His eyes turn grey as he examines every aspect of the bunk, every seam, what it's connected and how strong those connections are.*

[b]He sees nothing, for the cuffs on his arms blocks his powers.[/b]

[spoiler]Behind.[/spoiler] [b]He notices the bunk is sturdily made, the mattress is a simple one.[/b]

*Thinking "I might as well get a better look at these cuffs..." *He flops on the ground and rolls on to his side. He slides his legs in between his arms. Now his arms are in front of him and he examines the cuffs.* [spoiler]I've had my hands duct taped behind my back before... I know it's possible to do what Sketch just did.[/spoiler]

[b]They appear to be solid iron-alloy cuffs, no seals or cracks at all.[/b]

*His eyes turn grey again. He looks for any lights in the cell.*

[b]The light seems to be coming from the ceiling of the cell, but no light fixtures are visible.[/b]

A violet mist flies toward the army with terrible speed, reconstituting a all- black figure, with glowing purple eyes.

[b]On one of the dropships, a gunner notes the black mist flowing towards the battle.[/b] "Mystical target found. Sector 6, switch to anti-mystical rounds." [b]The Marines that you are approaching all confirm as they switch their guns to salt center, holy water center, and blessed rounds. As you reform, they begin to fire into you, the rounds burning their way through you and disrupting your magic.[/b]

The holy water and blessed rounds I shrug off, but the salt round bit me hard. I reel back, and, with my last strength, summon a barrier of the mist, stopping bullets and obscuring me from all vision. (THAT [i] INCLUDES [/i]OTHER PARTS OF THE SPECTRUM.)

[b]They begin to focus fire in your general area, noting your vanishing. Aboard a dropship, Lieutenant Captain Franks takes note of the magikal disturbance. Turning to his second-in-command he smirks.[/b] "I'm going to go take a walk. With my sword." [b]Outside the ship, a 10-ft figure in golden armor appears, broadsword slung over his shoulder. He begins striding into the battle, the stray bullet or spell deflecting off of his armor.[/b]

[b]He notes your reformation with a small grin.[/b] "Welcome.... To the thunder dome." [b]He slams his sword into the ground and the Marines activate their thrusters to escape as a huge dome formed of electricity forms around the two of you.[/b]
