[b][i][u]Boom.[/u][/i][/b]
[b]Above the Dojo in high orbit, the [i]Eclipse[/i] floats silently in the void. Lights begin to turn on, portals begin opening in its hull, and along its sides the MACs begin to cycle up. Inside its hangars, dropships full of Marines begin to lift off inside the hangar.
In the bridge, First Officer Mike Heneke turns to TAC Officer Susan Wolf.[/b]
"Directive 37 is in effect as of now. Begin the first wave."
"Yes ma'am."
[b]The order is passed down to the pilots of the dropships, and soon 30 dropships each carrying a thousand Marines in full battle armor launch into the atmosphere.[/b]
[u]On the Surface....[/u]
[b]Shadow points upwards while a crooked smile grows.[/b]
"Boom."
[b]Overhead, a barrage of sonic booms blast through the air as the dropships begin to descend all around the Dojo, protected by their impeller wedges*
Armored Marines begin to spill out as soon as the transports near the ground, some climbing into 20-to-30 foot mechanical battle titans while others begin the main assault.[/b]

"Well now, no need to be rude." [b]The man looks you up and down, smirking.[/b] "Looks like we have a lightweight stage magician here. Care to show me a few tricks?"

The figure raises his hand, the purple mist drifting off. "[i]abracadabra[/i]" With a burst of the purple mist a top hat materialises in the figure's hand. Inside is a rabbit.

"And they say I'm a null!!" [b]Franks laughs and starts clapping, leaning on his sword.[/b]

The figure raises his eyebrows. "What?"

"What? You were funny." [b]Franks sighs at your expression, then proceeds to pull his sword out of the ground and take up a ready stance.[/b] "Enough play time."

The hulking figure takes a combat stance. "Your move."

"Thanks." [b]Franks seems to flicker, then appears on your left to crash into you, knocking you back and sending a shock through your body. He gets back into a ready stance, waiting.[/b]

(The figure transforms again into the mist and rams into your mech, knocking it to the ground)

[spoiler]What mech? Lol[/spoiler] [b]Franks, watching you attack nothing, gets in close and slams you into the ground, adding a few thousand volts. As you, writhe on the ground, he begins pounding you with his feet.[/b] "Stupid magician."

[spoiler]what? I thought frank was in a mech. I will try again.[/spoiler] The figure quickly recovers and transforms once again into the mist form, powering into [i]frank[/i]

The figure recoils. "I have to say, it was quite an electrifiing experience" The figure raises his hand, and the mist converges in his hand, creating a pressure wave which knocks you back

"Hah!! We should go into comedy!!" [b]He slides back, managing to stay upright. He swings his sword at you, sending a wave of electricity.[/b]

The figure sees the blow coming, enlarges slightly, and turns a lighter shade of purple. The sword goes right through him.

[b]The electricity shocks you back into corporeal form and he swings again.[/b]

Time for another approach (All of the spare mist gathers into the figure's hand, making it near - indestructible. He raises his hand to block the strike)

Let's see how this thing holds up.. [b]Parts of my armor being sparking with lightning as jump into the crowd, both swords drawn[/b]

[b]An elite Titan takes notice of you charging the lines and steps forwards to challenge you. He reaches behind him to pull out an energy shield and spear. Taking up a stance, he lets out a roar.[/b]

[b]The Titan stands there, watching you. Tilting his head slightly, he lets out a low chuckle.[/b] "Well well well. Looks like the Skipper was right. You are quite the warrior. Fight well." [b]With that, he raises his spear in salute, before charging at you.[/b]

[u]Balthazar walks calmly towards the battleground. As he walks, He draws a thin but long one-handed sword as a shield fans out from his arm. You can see a massive sword handle protruding from his back, but he makes no effort to draw it. He waves the smaller sword effortlessly, the tip making an audible swishing noise.[/u] I may not be given entrance to the Dojo yet, but there's no use fighting in a pile of rubble. -Passive stance de-engaged- -Combat stance engaged- Might as well get some practice in. [u]Balthazar enters an offensive stance, then dashes into the crowd of soldiers at an inhuman speed. He dashes back and forth, cutting down opponents left and right, their severed limbs flopping onto the ground limply. Bullets can be seen bouncing off of his chrome armor, leaving small blemishes caused by friction.[/u]

[b]Surprisingly, Marines' reactive armor deflects your strikes. They laugh as they pummel at you with their armored fists, each delivering a blow more than 3 times a normal human's strength.[/b] [spoiler]Not bs, just simply technology.[/spoiler]

[u]Balthazar takes no notice of the soldiers blows as they simply glance off of his body. He calmly puts away his sword and retracts his shield.[/u] If my blades have no effect, I might as well rip and tear instead if slice and dice. -Speed stance de-engaged- -Defense stance engaged- [u]Balthazar makes his chromium hands into fists. Armor plating slides down to cover his fingers, re-enforcing them. Chromium plates emerge from his joints, fully covering his sleek, slender body in a bulky, bloodstained shield.[/u] I never cleaned this after the first and only time I used it. I guess I never thought my blades would be dulled. [u]He grabs the nearest soldier by the head, lifting them from the ground. As he lifts the soldier higher, he takes no notice of their futile struggle. He tightens his grip, crushing their helmet like a tin can and pops their skull. Blood rains onto the shocked soldiers and his armor.[/u] I bet you can guess why this armor is so dirty. -Passive core switching to stasis- -Bloodlust core switched to main use- [u]Balthazar's voice changes into a screeching, metallic voice, not unlike gears grinding together. [/u] No one will be left untouched. [u]Balthazar screams in rage, grabbing soldiers left and right, ripping them apart like a lion rips into it's prey.[/u] [spoiler]No prob, been looking for an excuse to show Balthazar's Bloodlust core. Btw, Balthazar is a sentient automaton, so his body isn't exactly the weakest thing. It isn't always the best idea to try and shoot or punch him after making his weapons obsolete, as he'll use a bit more "brutal" combat style. You pretty Much doomed all of your troops to a painful death.[/spoiler]
