Sterling Treasure spawning multiples of armor.
So I logged into Destiny today and got a Sterling Treasure box at the post master. Opened it and got the Spektar Grasps for my Hunter, along with several chromas.
Thought to myself "cool", and put the red chroma on my new gauntlets.
Then I played PoE, because of the other Sterling Treasure box you get for completing it.
Got the box and instead of opening it, I put it in my vault to use with my Warlock.
I logged in as my Warlock and opened the Sterling Treasure to again receive the Spektar Grasps (Hunter Exclusive), along with several chromas
How often am I going to be opening Sterling Treasure boxes paid for by real money, to only be disappointed?

3 weeks in a row now... 9 packages... what have I got you ask. 3 spektar guantlets for titan, 3 spektar chests for titan and 3 spektar helmets for titan.. regardless of the character I open them on. First week was all guantlets. 2nd week was 2 chests and a helmet and so far this week has been a mixture of all 3. RNG hates me.

The two you just opened were free. But armor has always worked that way. Exotics can decrypt to any class, regardless of who opens it. Same with sterling chests. If you highlight the chest and press Y it shows you specifically what it might contain. This includes all of the armor for all classes. Good luck.

Had the same issue myself, three boxes in a row dropped the exact same items. All within about 10 minutes. Will not be spending anymore real money if there is an issue with the random rolls.
