[b]A thick shield of dark ice covers the area around, preventing some damage. I get up, and stretch a bit.[/b]
"Quit throwing rocks you damn savages!"
[b]I pull a large chunk of earth from the ground, then chuck it at the ship at unfathomable speed.[/b]

[b]The ship notes the rock and easily increases the shield's strength, taking the impact of the blow and absorbing the leftover energy into the system. The Marines on the ground break through the ice and begin firing on you.[/b]

[b]Ice creeps up their legs, covering them, slowly freezing then to death, as I rush forward to leap into the ship.[/b]

[b]The Marines break free of the ice, their suits protecting them from the temperature. As you leap into space, you approach the impeller bands generated by the ship's engines. As you get closer, you begin to feel your atoms tearing apart from the energies generated. You hit the impeller bands and your very atoms are torn apart by their power, splattering your existence across the galaxy.[/b] [spoiler]BS OP jump onto my ship? Heh.[/spoiler]

[b]Well shit. This is probably going to take a while... I shall use this time to meditate on what went wrong, and how to better it. Perhaps jumping into space was a bad idea. Should I find it necessary, I should probably put on some heat resistant suit, and actually aim at some part of the ships, or drop ships.[/b]

[b]I pause to think, and after a brief minute, I blast a bit of ice behind myself to propel towards the coordinates.[/b]

[b]It is a small planet in a binary system. A figure awaits you, standing alone.[/b]

[b]I land, and as I do, the last chunk of me reattached itself.[/b] "Hello there!"

[b]The figure turns to reveal a young man, faintly glowing in the dim light of the dying star.[/b] "Welcome to my home. Sorry about the lack of furnishings, they decayed a few thousand years ago."

"Well, you happened to be passing by, and since no one has visited, I thought I might as well invite you to talk." [b]He smiles.[/b] "It's nice to talk to a mortal after so long."

"Well, glad to be of use, I suppose." [b]I pull a thermos out of my bag.[/b]

"Ah, is that one of those containers that mortals use to carry around a liquid without it loosing temperature? Ingenious!!"

[b]I pour some of the hot liquid into the cap.[/b] "Indeed. Would you like some tea?" [b]I pull two foldable chairs and table out of my bag, set them, and take a seat.[/b]
