Blighted Chalice strike
Come anyone tell me what I'm missing? I have not been able to receive the quest from Variks leading up to the Blighted Chalice strike. Is there something that must be done as a requirement or prerequisite before unlocking this quest line?

You have to go to dreadnaught first a new icon will appear there then once completed you have to collect 20 shards from taken enemies anywhere. Then the strike will appear on moon. First accept the quest from variks and proceed with the 3 steps
