I agree, one should be able to solo these missions. Sometimes we need a chance to take on a boss alone, 9 times out of 10 other players (both friends and randoms) prove to be unreliable, and that's on a good day. Yet Destiny seems driven to force you to work together with people you never met, and who are about as cooperative as a pack of feral wolves trying to kill each other over a piece of rancid meat.
