1 ReplyExactly. I did my first hard raid at 307 and the light requirements haven't changed. It's not like light level makes that big of a difference anyway lol.

1 ReplyGot booted from a nightfall strike before it even started ( well done bungie , no matchmaking yet eververse everywhere) Then received a msg saying 'sorry you're too low light '. Went back on lfg , found an American and French guy and we were all @310 and with lots of communication and revives we did it . I may not be a good player but I'm a better guardian

1 ReplyI always thought this previous to this update. I would take any light level in to a hard raid as long as they were good players and knew their sh1t. Now I actually have reservations about light limits on raids. There are some poor players on these forums, ones that have never beaten the raid and don't know what to do but have beaten the prison because of how easy it is and will now be around 315 light. Then they try and sneak in to raids. I was in a raid Wednesday that took almost 2 hours to get up to warpriest and we didn't beat him because of this. I am used to completing a raid in less than an hour.

I find it funny that people on the forums keep basing this and yet I have no problems what so ever getting 325+ group up and running. None what so ever. And your reply will be get a life won't it? I play about 15 hours a week maybe that's 2 hours a day on average. I telly don't understand how people have such difficulties getting gear. I mena everyone should have been 320 by the patch of at least 319. Now it's just a joke gearing up. If you can't do the simple things as gearing up then how can we expect you to do the raid 😂

8 RepliesLight level no longer matters. Bungie gave the scrubs 47 different ways to reach max light while also making it very easy. Being 335 will mean nothing and it will be hard to know how good a player is with a particular encounter. In the past you needed to do end game content to reach max light, now you just need to own the game to reach max light.
