None of that has anything to do with light level....or experience.
It has everything to so with poor team balance. Poor team coordination...and people who are too impatient to allow for people TO LEARN these various roles. But then those people are usually the first to complain when they can't find people who know how to do them.
The teams that wipe are because you have players that don't make call outs. The teams that wipe are because someone's TIMING is off. The teams that wipe are because someone is playing while they're drunk or they're HIGH...and they can't keep from -blam!-ING DYING every five minutes.
The teams that wipe are teams that are being poorly led...so no one is entirely clear on what strategy is being run.,
The teams that wipe are the teams where people get panicky or easily frustrated, and they start wanting to change the strategy in the middle of the fight and it unravels.
Teams don't wipe at this point because of a lack of players that know the fight mechanics. They wipe because they are either being poorly led....or are working TOGETHER poorly.
If you're still learning the mechanics of these fights after seven completions? There's something wrong. They are NOT that difficult or that complicated.

If they are posting a sherpa run on normal, they will most likely add that to their post. Most people just want to get the raid done. There are always other players to replace the with.
Teams don't wipe at this point because of a lack of players that know the fight mechanics. Or they got their 7 completions doing the raid early on when it came out, and strategies have changed (especially for oryx). They may have never done challenges. Someone who have 50+ completions you can assume has done all this.

I'm not assuming anything. I just have enough life experience to tell the difference between good leadership and poor leadership. Between those who are good team players and those who are poor team players. I've raided enough to know that lack of experience is not what makes teams fail. What makes teams fail is poor leadership; poor strategy; or poor coordination. Like I said. Anyone who is still learning the mechanics of these fight after seven completions is on the really flat part of the learning curve. You can run your team any way you want. But the fact is some of worst raids of been on have been with high light level players. Who were simply poor team players. If you're a decent player, I can easily overcome someone's lack of experience. By being flexible and keeping the strategy---and the role I give him--simple.

Not every leader wants to sherpa buddy, learn the difference. It's not the party leaders fault that players don't know what to do. (Unless of course, he wasn't paying attention to player's light levels and built a weak team.) Go on youtube, watch a tutorial, find a sherpa to take you on a normal raid. Don't expect people to carry you.

Edited by TheArtist: 4/15/2016 5:42:31 PMSomeone who has completed the raid seven times on normal doesn't need a sherpa. He knows the fight on normal, and 30 second explanation is enough to clarify the differences between normal and hard mode. What he needs is a team with a good leader and a clear strategy. Because he lacks the experience to overcome deficits in those areas. He doesn't need or is looking for anyone to teach him , or anyone to carry him. Trust me if I show up to your hard raid with my light 306 Titan ( third character). You won't be teaching me anything, and I won't be needing you to carry me. As I'm usually the last guy standing if there's a wipe. So spare me the elitist chest-pounding, and worry about your own damn game. What someone with 90 clears brings is that he essentially carry team that is being poorly led or or is poorly coordinated. He is essentially the crutch for the poor raid leader or poor raid team. Not only won't he ask anything of you as a leader, he can bolster your weaknesses. IOW, if you need a team full of guys with 90 clears to. Reliably clear the raid..... There's something wrong,
