Malok and Alak-hul. Both seeked to take the throne of the Hive. Both felled by our hand.
Because of their relation I feel compelled to compare them, and Malok doesn't seem anywhere near as powerful or threatening as Alak-hul. Malok has more magic on his side rather than just having a big axe, but he doesn't really feel as dangerous as Alak-hul. Maybe it's just the setting. Malok hides behind his adds most of the time and you can also hide from him easily. Alak-hul on the other hand can just appear behind you at any time and stomp your head in.
What do you think about it? It's a lot more reasonable of a comparison than asking if Atheon can give Crota a wedgie.

Actually, Alak-Hul can only "teleport" when standing in those weird puddles of black water. If you noticed, when Hive come up from the ground, there's always a puddle of that substance where it happens. It's a method of transportation. If you take that away, Alak-Hul loses that advantage. He is certainly more threatening but Malok is just more.....more. Oryx's horde (the Taken) actually responds to him and answers his calls. He looks like the guardians of the Shrines, the massive Hive Knight we fight in the Shrine of Oryx mission, but he's been Taken and granted a new Knife or two. My Glimmer is Malok.
