You played for her fleet without giving her the chance to possibly tell you a inventive plan that somehow allowed her to escape. Such as the fact that slipspace is not instantaneous. The vectors showing themselves would've given her enough time to activate a protocol to protect against it. Not unlikely at all. [/spoiler]
