The problem with Sterling Treasure Purchases...$48 Solution

Many are going back and forth over the fact that Sterling treasure screws consumers up because of RNG and whether this is right or not. The truth is Bungie Should Eliminate the RNG Aspect of it. They did this with the sparrow kits. This allowed consumers to get all sparrows without having to spend extra money because of repeated sparrows. Instead the next sparrow kit gave you a sparrow you did not have. How can this work with Sterling treasure? Simple: 1. Sterling treasure should give you an armor and possible gear you did not get yet until you get everything possible then if you decide to keep buying the treasures for better rolls the rewards will recycled. Basically like the sparrow kits only with the option of buying more once all of the armor is obtained. 2. Sterling treasure should only drop armor for the character you have. Same way taken armor is limited to each character the chrome armor should be limited too. This way someone is guaranteed everything after spending $48 dollars for all 24 armor pieces and possible gears together or $16 Dollars per character. Anything after that will just restart the reward drops like the sparrow kits. $48 dollars for full gear is more than enough Bungie. Bump this!!!!

 • You must be out of your mind. Kids growing up with the F2P/mobile gaming economy are ruining everything that made games good. It's now normal for the younger generation to spend money on in-game items that should be rewards for playing. The items contained in the sterling treasure are some of the coolest looking gear to date in destiny and instead of putting that gear behind a reward for completing tough challenges it's being sold outright.
