Hello-Guardians(^-^)/ !
One of me & my Fireteams favorite things to notice in this beautiful gamerworld of ours is a clever Gamertag ! Whether it's a fellow Guardian at the Tower or an opponent in the Crucible, a good Gamertag is always appreciated.
So share with us the origin of your gamertag! Why did you choose it & what does it mean to you? No judgements here(^.^)!
I'll start: Professor Hikita is a character from one of my Fireteams favorite 1984 scifi movies "Buckaroo Banzai" , he was the Japanese scientist on Team Buckaroo responsible for inventing the Over Thruster( I recommend the movie if you haven't caught it yet ). Most of my gamer friends use names from this movie.
We really welcome you guys to share with us your "Batman" names here!
Thanks always for your kindness & attention
(^-^)/

Edited by Catty_Wampus22: 4/26/2016 3:44:19 PMI remember that movie from when I was a kid lol My kids made this name. I got great gear right away. 1st legendary was a Badger ccl with firefly and near max range. First exotics were icebreaker and heart of the praxic fire with 1 less discipline than the max. But I hated the name (I still cringe when people say it in chat) so I made my own during TDB, got to 27 with no exotics and my 'best' legendary was a pulse rifle with no stability so I came back to this and gave my kids the 1 I made (Pepe_Sylvia) which came from an episode of its always sunny in Philadelphia

I travel to the Kruger National Park on holiday. Leopards are my favourite sighting so hence the name. Ingwe means Leopard in Zulu and Xhosa.
-
Thought it sounded cool at the time. That was when I was 12. I regret it now.
-
Character from the Night Angel Trilogy that I liked to read.

Mine came from Game of Thrones books. Thought it fitting for a console gamertag.

I switched from 360 last gen to PS4 this gen, so all the great names had been taken for years already. So, naturally, I went with PUTIN IN SPAAAAAAACE

Mine comes from a phrase, most commonly used in Great Britain. It's used at the end of a simple instructions, For example: "left over right; right over left, and Bob's your uncle – a reef knot."

Smoking a bowl trying to think of a name without 420 in it but still weed related, a common phrase going around was " I got some killer chronic dude!" Sounded good to me

It's from the hyper-violent movie called Ichi the Killer. It was featured on some of the promotional material. Ichi was spelt 1chi and the Yakuza (Japanese mafia types). Yakuza refers to the numbers in a poor card hand from a particular game and is referred to as "Good for nothing". Poorly translated PSN = "Good for nothing #1" I really liked the movie and it was hard to find something available.

I came up with mine years ago. I'm a very creative person, and look at the world in many different ways. I love to use tons of different colors on projects etc. I never do the same thing twice. Very spontanious. So.. i originally wanted multicolourful but.. multicolour sounds better haha. It describes me. 😊

At the time, I really liked to watch GTA 5 videos on Youtube so I got Expert from XpertThief but I didn't want to copy exactly how it was spelled. I got Gamer from Typical Gamer and I chose 71 because they are my favorite numbers.

Thought it was just an account name so I made it the same as most of my other usernames... thought I'd be able to change it or make a new one that people would see. It is the only thing I dislike about sony.

The first name was from my favorite Dungeons and Dragons character to roleplay, a scattered half-elf warlock. The last name is from Tevesh Szat, a demonic planeswalker from Magic: the Gathering. I'm a nerd.
