Sarah Palin claims that Bill Nye is not a real scientist.

What is this? And of course also denies climate change.
Edit: So apparently I have learned that Bill Nye is not a full fledged scientist but he is very knowledgeable in the field of science and is an educator.

How do you actually define what a scientist is? Someone who uses science? Someone who does research? Only in physical science? What about social science? Or is it just anyone who is scientifically literate? It's pretty ambiguous. Bill Nye is a mechanical engineer, a speaker, and an entertainer. In all those carriers he uses scientific ideas constantly. Does that make him a scientist? I think the answer is that it doesn't really matter.
