Dear Destiny community.
Stop backing out of strikes because you want the the Taken Variant of the Aksor strike.
The Stolen Will isn't even that good. The Crucible vendor Next Big Thing already has an excellent PvE roll.
You are ruining Heroic Strikes for everyone else.
That is all.

[b]EDIT:[/b] As @A_N_T_Z_13 said in the comments, I think it'd be a great idea if Bungie implemented a 10-15 minute lockout for players who frequently leave strikes within a certain timeframe. (Like Halo: Reach's system, where players would be locked out of PvP for 15 minutes for repeatedly leaving.)

Since the update I've ran heroics for about a total of 6 hours and got winters run one time....and it wasn't even the taken version.....I'm going to start leaving because the chances of getting the strike is f**king ridiculous.

4 RepliesIf you're farming for the shotgun, please do it in a 3 man fireteam so you don't ruin it for everyone else. I will be reporting everyone who leaves early.

3 RepliesI mean, that's why Bungie should make players have the ability to choose the heroic strikes from the director. If someone wants to farm for any strike specific drop, they should be able to do it outside the playlist. And make them continuous, so we don't have to back out to Orbit every time.

I'll just wait till it's the nightfall or something. I barely ever play strikes and I've done the fallen and taken versions already. No shotgun tho.

yep. i'm at that point now that i'm just going to start backing out of everything that isn't Archon Priest.. for the last 2 days, i've played a lot of strikes. just got done with a run of 12 strikes. got the archon priest strike twice (once fallen, once taken). the amount of times i have to play the same strike over and over is just ridiculous.

1 ReplyThis will sound terrible but I was backing out of a strike while reading this post. Only bc I worked 11 hours today and didn't feel like dealing with bungie rng strikes. Normally ill run through w.e. strike but not tonight.

im good, got it after hopping into a strike and getting placed during the boss fight of the strike after 2 minutes it dropped with the pile, I had to exfilarate before I received any hate. not my fault bungie did it for me and I really felt sorry for the people.

Hell I think mines really good it already has fast fire rate then mine had rage finder and another range perk shoots fast has easy controlled recoil and has good range

easiest fix would be to show which strike is next in rotation. or that and a vote between 2. then peeps would back out in space if they didn't like the next strike. not after the fact.

5 RepliesI was trying to run quick strikes with the rep bonus on today to get some rep packages. 1-2 people would leave EVERY damn time and it would take 15-20 minutes for replacements to come and I'd be lucky if those replacements didn't leave too. That 2 hour rep bonus was completely wasted. Bungie needs to implement a 15 minute lockout timer that prevents people who leave strikes to join another or something along those lines.

I got the shotgun on my second ever attempt of the strike. I just popped a vanguard booster and went to town on strikes. Its just random RNG so no point in trying to farm it. Just play so you get vanguard packages too. Mine has a terrible roll but Ill get another one someday doesnt matter when I dont need it right this second.

Sorry but people will play how they wish. Get mad at Bungie for not putting the new Taken strike on the map like the rest of them.

2 RepliesDear OP, No, I will continue to leave strikes just for the shotty because it is taken and it looks like dry rot. I will continue to ruin heroic strikes for everyone else because I do it with a 2 man fireteam. Until they allow you to go into the strike directly through venus, I will always ruin the heroic strikes. That is all.
