I think chroma is a great addition. Some would say it's a gateway into a transmog system, but I personally don't think transmog is good for destiny. Every weapon/armor piece in destiny is themed, and comes from a specific place. These themes are what give weapons their character (certainly not the perks). I think this is a very good characteristic of weapons. Transmog would trivialize this. That being said, they really need to stop with the reskins and do what they're doing better.
