Strikers are fine....Titans need more melee range in general. Then the subclass is on par.
English
-
What bungie needs is hit detection, melee range is fine for all classes
-
Apparently you've never used a Titan...
-
I have, and if you think the range is still too short idk what you be doing wrong. Especially with shoulder charge being a thing and that lunges for miles
-
Shoulder charge is a completly separate mechanic of the subclass. We have already established that is irrelevant. That's the equivalent of comparing grenades and then saying Viking funeral (which is an ability). Shoulder charge is an ability just like juggernaut and unstoppable for the subclass. Now back to the original topic. As the entire community agrees that Titans have the worst "MELEE" in the game. Followed by warlocks having entirely too much range.
-
The funny thing is, sun singers are said to have the best grenades, right everyone agrees with that. And guess why? Because of Viking funeral and touch of flames. So shoulder charge is relevant.
-
And again, you are trying to use the ability tree to add relevancy to your argument. I don't think you understand that this is not about abilities rather than the general melee. If you're trying to go with your reasoning, technically hunters have the longest ranged melee due to throwing knives. See your logic flaw? Go make 3 brand new characters, one of each class, and then tell me which one has the best melee. Answer: warlocks par none.
-
So are you saying warlocks have bad grenades? See everyone complains about how good sunsinger grenades are, but since it's because of the ability tree it's okay? Have you ever tried Titan skating? Warlocks might have a melee with more range but they are also the slowest class, compare that to how fast Titan skating is. You can claps gaps in seconds
-
Put it to a poll. I guarantee you that when you type in "who has the best melee" and list the 3 classes, warlocks win hands down. And this discussion is not about grenades. You're going off topic again to try and find some loop hole to find some validity when you have been proven wrong.
-
Proven wrong? Like I said before warlocks are he slowest, so a longer melee makes them relevant in close range. Titans have skating which closes gaps quicker, thus making less range needed for a melee, on top of stuff like juggernaut or shoulder charge to help close the gap.
-
Go ahead...put it to a poll. I want to see the community prove you wrong Lol. Your whole argument relies on the perk tree. Even so, sunsingers will destroy your Titans. Your only hope is to hit the shoulder charge. Assuming you don't get shotgunned on the way in. One shot from a warlock and they get an instant over shield. Making you have to land 3 melees to my two. No matter how fast you are, you can't land 3 before I land 2. But anyways go make a poll so I can sit back and laugh as they vote warlock.
-
Then let's make a poll on which character and the best jump. Let's watch the community back me up
-
We all know Titans do. The only thing they don't have is blink. Again you try to go off topic. You're trying to use comparisons to other aspects of other classes which have no relevancy to which class has the better melee. I'm starting to think I'm arguing with a 12 year old.
-

T-Rex arms ftw!
-
No he's right. Hit detection needs a lot of work. Range is fine. Start running titans as an in your face rush class.
-
This is how I know you're terrible at PvP. Warlocks hold that title. The rushing champions are warlocks and second place goes to hunters. I will out melee you every day of the week with a warlock and my "hit detection" will be perfectly fine. The answer is that they gave Titans T-Rex arms. There's no arguing this.
-
Have you ever run titan in pvp? If you have, you're playing it wrong.
-
Dude you're ass at crucible
-
Titan is my favorite overall class....and I'm telling you it's melee is miserable. Go read my other post if you are trying to count shoulder charge....that does not count due to the fact that it is considered an "ability" and is not it's given melee.
-
I main a striker, and it does not, in any way, need a melee buff. The striker melee isn't as great as a lot of the other subclasses, but it makes up for it in other areas like shoulder charge and lightning grenades. The subclasses are perfectly balanced right now.
-
Did you forget Defenders?
-
Preach it.
-
You have an insta kill melee. I don't think you need more range.....
-
Lmao imagine if they made an exotic that extends the hit radius for shoulder charge
-
I see....Salt. Salt everywhere.
