You're wrong about nirvana. They are one of the most important bands of all time. They started a whole movement and killed off the awful genre of music that was hair/glam metal.

Lol no he wasn't. His songs were gibberish. There are so many bands that surpass Kurt cobain lyrically it's not funny. His guitar playing was a joke too. When I first picked up guitar I learned three of his songs just fooling around, and that was within my first year of playing guitar.

Led zeppelin and radio head are great. I don't listen to a ton of tool or NIN.

Tool actually got me into led zeppelin. They have a cover of no quarter that's really good. A perfect circle is a more melodic variant to Tool, just as poetic with the lyrics though. Nine inch nails is brilliant, the downward spiral and the fragile are excellent albums if your looking to get into it.

Your stance on doctors is scary. Any reason? I assume I understand your reasoning on cold medication but all you are doing is making yourself feel better. What's wrong about that?

I just don't trust doctors. They're not always right. Sometimes they prescribe a medication just because they get certain allowances from the pharmaceutical companies, not that it would be best for the patient. In some cases just a change in diet is enough to cure what ails you, but doctors just wanna shove pills down your throat. As for cold medicine, I have the idea in my head that it doesn't really allow your immune system to fight the cold off thus weakening your system. I stopped taking that stuff entirely and I rarely if ever get sick anymore.

My uncle is a doctor and can confirm that second one. He constantly tells his patients to not take cold medicine, and just eat healthier in general and you'll get sick less.
