Only thing that striker needs is for shoulder charge to use a melee charge when used

Titans have the worst melee in the game by far. This is the only redeeming thing. It takes 3 seconds to charge Theres a radar so u can see me coming I have to sprint at u for 3 seconds, no shooting, no getting behind cover. If i kill you, then you just weren't paying attention. Thats why i dont use shoulders chargr in 3v3 cuz people are usually more aware.

OK, and shade step, and blink glide, blink double jump, and stalker?

-
Putting oneself into an advantageous position to kill, or to escape a potential death? Neither should be charged.
-
No they shouldn't just saying if one had to be shoulder charge makes sense
-
Disagree, in order to charge shoulder charge, a titan puts themselves in a vulnerable position. It's risky.
-
Yes but for a MELEE charge it would be titans other wise shadestep
-
I believe we are getting hung up on semantics. Placing a charge upon a trait or skill that is not a melee is what is at the crux of the discussion. All of the above are subclass skills/traits.
-
I know i said none should have them its dumb
-
Gotcha!
-
What I've bean saying its a bad idea the whole time
-
No, juuuuuuust no. Shoulder Charge and Storm Fists are two different things. You might as well as make the Hunter smoke melee as a grenade or replace the warlock glide for AoL.
-
Titan T-Rex arms make their melee crappy XD leave shoulder charge alone sometimes the hits don't even register as they should. In that sense they share the same pain with hunters and their melee x(
-
No it doesn't. If you get killed by shoulder charge you either weren't paying attention to your surroundings (which means you deserve to die) or you were playing an inferno map and didn't spot the Titan on radar (which means you weren't looking around you and got taken out from behind and deserved to die). If a striker shoulder charged and killed you gave to face it means it was one of the rare times the hit detection worked and you must have been changing mags (and deserved to die). Basically the Titan SC can be easily countered with situational awareness and bullets. Stop your bitching.
-
Ah, -blam!- you.
-
Why? It's one of the most situational abilities in the game. Sure it's a OHK. If you catch the enemy off guard and if they don't have a shotgun out and if it connects. There are far more powerful perks that need a look at before anything is done to shoulder charge.
-
Again, it's a OHK (or near given the specifics you gave and if they tank against it). In matches you see a lot of strikers just running around the map shoulder charging and only shoulder charging. Also, shotgun is a hit or miss counter for shoulder charge. It works sometimes, other times it doesn't. If shoulder charge remains how it is now, then us gunslingers should be able to OHK with a precision throwing knife hit.
-
Only problem with OHK on throwing knife if the instant refresh
-
How high are you? You want a 1 hit ranged kill lol
-
I have never, ever been in a match where someone just runs around shoulder charging everyone. And shotties are not hit or miss. If they see you, and they have a shotgun out, they will kill you. End of story. And making throwing knives a OHK would be op as hell. Unless they seriously tweaked them, any decent player would have an unlimited supply of instant death blades. Plus unlike SC, you don't have to put yourself in harms way to use them, and you can use them any time. Shoulder charge is fine where it's at. If you get killed by it, it's because you made a mistake, not because it's op.
-
You must not play crucible much if you have never seen anyone running around the map shoulder charging every one in their sights. You must also not use shotguns very much either. Also have you ever used throwing knives? They can be I saintly difficult to land a precision hit with and if you miss, you loose the charge. Even still, if you land a precision kill with a throwing knife on death, you don't gain the charge back even if you have the perk active.
-
I clearly play a lot more than you. Shoulder charging is not an issue. I use shotguns as much as anyone. Unless yours is utter crap, they're still plenty lethal. More than enough to shut down shoulder chargers. Hell, I've shut them down with fusion rifles. If they kill you, it's your fault. Simple as that. It's not gimmicky like other abilities. And for Christ's sake, throwing knives are easy as hell to get precision hits with. They track, on top of high aim assist.
-
Really high aim assist. You really have to wiff to miss
-
In that case, there'd have to be no sprint charge up.
-
Yes there should be sprint charge up. It's like a car, if you hit the accelerator you don't instantly go 60 mph (or whatever the equivalent may be if you use another measurement). The car accelerates to get to that speed. Same principal with shoulder charge, starting a sprint and instantly having it ready doesn't make sense. The inertia is not there
