People's personal rights are more important than state government Any belief, thought, or action that does not forcibly affect, harm, or involve another person other than the one/s doing it should not get you scrutinized by society and especially the law. This includes lgbt, weed users, any kind of consensual intercourse, and even unusual fandoms like furries or anime. We have more important things to worry about than what other people like to do with their lives. Capitalism in its purest form may be better than Communism in its purest form, but that doesn't make Capitalism a perfect utopia. It still has its flaws. If we listen to the idea of denying haven to any refugees running away from ISIS, making collateral damage a deliberate goal, and violating the Geneva convention to destroy ISIS, I'm worried that'll incite even more hatred against the west and we'll have to worry about this shitstorm yet again in several years. Especially if there's not really a plan in place to ensure that area's stability once ISIS is dealt with. Speaking of which, specifically to Islamaphobs out there who might support this idea, if we aren't going to save any refugees running away from ISIS or give any -blam!-s about Iraq/Syria's people or future under the belief that they're all inhuman scum, why don't we just maintain our security here at home and let the Middle East deal with its own problems? It may not always be called this, but the negativity that political correctness has can go for either side of politics. Just as some Liberals whine and cry for a form of media that doesn't agree with them to be censored because it hurt their feelings, I've seen Conservatives want a book supporting transgenders or a movie poking fun of Donald Trump to be banned for the exact same reasons.
