EDIT: Angelic Pain's idea for special ammo which he/she commented is great.
"Should get X ammo per weapon type and archetype for the entire match"
(I personally think 8 for a match, and when you switch archetype you get 2 shots with the achetype you switch to. I mean, after using 8 sniper shots you wouldn't want people just switching out to a shotgun for another 8 shots.)

I love Trials of Osiris, I think the whole idea of it is fantastic and I love the competitiveness of it.
It can be the most enjoyable thing in Destiny for me
But it can also be the most aggravating thing I've ever experienced in gaming.
Snipers.
I can't believe how much people rely on special ammo these days.
Its an absolute snipe/shotgun fest.
If people aren't sniping, they're rushing you with shotguns.
And with the ammo nerf, you can't switch from a sniper to a shotgun to counter it anymore. You can't make those strategic decisions and adapt to the opponents playstyle.
I feel as though that weapon changing ammo nerf was totally unreasonable.
I hate feeling like I'm better off hardscoping a corner with a sniper than trying to push through it with something like a Suros or at least hold it.
I hate how god damn overpowered revives are. I like how important they are and how their ability to win games requires teamwork... But seriously.. Why can't a Titan smash take out a reviver and a revivee? I feel like them being immune for the first second is stupid. I personally think that the person doing the reviving shouldn't get a shield... It's just too much. It punishes the other team for making a move like any team should. The whole revive shield thing only promotes one shot kills with snipers and I hate it. I just want to play a game of Trials where primaries are actually PRIMARY.
Like seriously... Imagine a serious game of Trials where nobody sniped. Weapons like Suros REGIME and most Pulse Rifles might actually see some use???

Primary weapons just aren't versatile enough. That's why year one was awesome if you weren't playing against thorn the last word mythoclast or suros in their hay days of course.
