Bump. I too have noticed that people are forgetting about being courteous about the heavy drop. I suspected that they were noobs.

Last iron banner I was following a teammate(a hunter) to the heavy ammo. He grabbed it before I was in range so I got nothing. Next drop, I was following the same guy to the same heavy ammo. An enemy player dropped down behind him and I shoulder charged trying to kill them. The hunter killed the enemy before my SC connected, and caused me to ram my teammate off the map without grabbing the heavy. Karma? Maybe, but the hate mail was fun.
