- An interlude for RoB and other realms, loosely tied to Warhammer 40k and several other themes.
Hurtling through the aether, between the currents of space and time, soars a mighty vessel of steel and flesh, a starship of vast size and unimaginable power - The Bloodwrath. This is an ancient ship of legends, with a lengthy history that has appeared throughout time over tens of thousands of centuries. It has sailed through the warp, a gateway between stars and galaxies that does not abide by the laws of physics, and is inhabited by entities of unspeakable horror including gods of madness and chaos. The inhabitants of the ship are champions from many realms. With no memory of their arrival, they are bound together for a common cause - a cause that not even they can fathom. These are the stories of these exiles.

- The Bloodwrath will now be your home, but tread lightly, for this starship has a taste for blood, and a hunger for the souls of men to fuel it's fires of war. Consider this a warning, venturing into quarantined and off limits areas could lead to an unpleasant demise. The things that dwell in the dark are beyond you, and more insidious than you could imagine.

Edited by Immørtal Fulgrim: 4/26/2016 1:53:09 AMChapter 1.4 - The Last Supper A great feast is hosted by the Summoner for his guests aboard his starship, the Bloodwrath. The Chamber of Souls is where the feast takes place, an area previously off limits to the general population of the ship. Hundreds of massive, ebony tables are aligned in rows, with enough seats to feed ten thousand men. The seating is not assigned, and the participants are encouraged to mingle with each other. The guests file in and takes seats at the table, the process takes several minutes. As the guests file in, they are taken aback by the stunning beauty of this chamber. Hundreds of lavishly painted murals of human history stand out from the black marble walls, each painted on giant banisters of the finest cloth. They are lit by a single, astoundingly massive chandelier of glowing soul gems, each one shining a different color and casting vibrant rays of light. The chandelier levitates in the center of the giant chamber. A giant painting of Fulgrim, the once noble Primarch of the Emperors Children, hangs above the massive door - his features Phoenician and utterly perfect. His long white hair is drapes over his broad shoulders, accentuating his pale face... But his eyes... There is something about this painting that is utterly horrifying. Those who know the story of Fulgrim are appalled to see the painting in the room, and know what it actually represents. The feast begins. Servitors in black, silky robes file in bringing an unending variety of exotic and outlandish treats. They are served on platters of pure gold, each one priceless and one of a kind, inscribed with ancient languages - most dead and forgotten. The silverware, also pure gold, is inlayed with diamonds that catch the light as the guests dig in, from the Summoner's view from the master table, elevated above the others, it looks like an ocean at sunset, reflecting multicolored beams of light. Multiple hosts of rune priests spread out amongst the guests, spreading a musky yet sweet smelling incense laced with powerful psychedelic properties that relax the guests as well as alter their perception to make the experience totally unforgettable and unbelievably pleasurable. The Summoner stands at his table and the room goes silent. "Honored guests, this is the Chamber of Souls. It is the birthplace of both legions that stand among you today. It is our mutual home, and we welcome you to this feast to put aside our differences for the sake of the circumstances. Although once sworn enemies, today the Imperial Death Angels of Sarris-Sanguine, and my Legion of Darkness come together to honor our agreement of cease fire.. And it comes at a time of turmoil. Tomorrow many of you will descend into the depths of this mighty ship and many of you will not return. So tonight, we honor you with this last supper." Says the Summoner as he holds up a diamond chalice. "To the dead!" Shouts the Summoner as he takes a gulp of exotic wine. "To the living!" He shouts again, taking another drink. "And to the afterlife!" He shouts as he takes finishes the chalice of wine. Music begins playing, it's tune is strong and inspiring, and the psychedelic effects of the incense give the sound profound depth - those that hear it never forget this moment as long as they live. They will remember this last moment of peace, for after the quarantine is opened, peace will be no more.
open to all, mingle with each other.
