Taken Winter's Run | Bungie | Please read (Deej, Cozmo, anyone please)
Bungie, I love you guys, but when you boast something as one of your featured objects of an update, don't hide it in a playlist, let us play it immediately and not roll dice to see if we get winter's run and then flip a coin to see if its the taken version, Bungie please, add a option in the director for the taken edition, I'm dying to get my hands on that stolen will.
Not bungo hate just a realistic request for bungie so we can play winter's run by the director also instead of only playlist luck.

7 RepliesThe strike isn't that fun, plus it's a lot of work for a 10% chance at a weapon drop. The weapon isn't great either. Also, the fallen captains love to t-bag you when you die, and you WILL die a few times.

Or at the very least don't make the Strike Specific Loot "Strike VERSION* Specific Loot," it's really just a big charade to artificially extend playtime by making the 'grind' for this item truly gruelling. I'm pissed about it, because Bungo's worried about making everyone feel like a special snowflake, but they end up making nobody feel like one in the end when good rolls come once in an Xpac as opposed to the Reforging system of old... Still miss those days.

1 ReplyI backed out of every lobby for an hour finally got winters run and you know what not taken i got super pissed threw my controller broke it got back on calmed down then threw a chair then i thought i felt better then broke the tv still wasnt happy.

Even if they would at LEAST let players VOTE for what strike they want to do next would be a welcome addition. I really despise the strike playlist because the rotation is horrible and you always end up playing the same strikes. Same should be true for crucible maps... It's 2016 bungie, this stuff should be a no brainer...

3 RepliesPretty much none of the strikes are in the list. I don't do strikes as majority of them are forgotten. Didn't even know this was a thing. Guess it fell under the rug. Rumor has it Destiny 2 is being developed by a dedicated and thoughtful company. Don't I wish, they have taken a fantastic potentially in depth story and fill it with plot holes and contingency flaws. Even a child's story book is more thorough.... On top of all that they choose to follow the pack instead of innovating. Make 90% of their game pointless. Guess they don't understand how to stand out. No massive player base is not innovative.

1 ReplyI have run multiple marathons of strikes since the April update and I have yet to even get the opportunity to play this strike. I actually ran two, two hour blocks of strikes this weekend and I still have yet to get that strike, even the normal archon priest strike at that!

Other than the trolls who voted, I think most players agree that of course they want to have the option to play a certain strike or mission whenever they wish. Unfortunately I do believe this is not done that way on purpose because Bungie is just trying to inflate player's play times.

1 Replyso i played this once , and then never saw the strike ever ever again, so i thought if i have to leave it up to the playlist thought id use 2 vangaurd boosters, and not once did it show up, thats 4 hours of heroic strikes,,, granted i came out with 17 legendaries , 4 exotics and 1 grasp of maloc i want the freaking shotgun, common is it even there still?

2 RepliesI don't think any of the Taken versions of the old strikes are available direct from the navigator. What Bungie has done is to make the Taken version of this strike consistent with what they have done with all the old strikes A lot of the strikes have specific drops which can now be up to 335 light. Why can't this community grow up and stop whining? Instead of quitting a strike because it's not the one that gives the specific bit of loot you are looking for, how about finishing the one you are given so you can see if you get a high level loot drop from that

That's why it's like that, they want you wasting your life hoping for that strike for that gun. Gotta keep those hours played up...usually artificially, like this.

4 RepliesYeah, it sucks boasting this new armor set and you can't even run the raid. I did a 2 hour buff and stayed on the whole time. I got the new strike once. And I didn't get shit from it even with a 3 of coins. I've since then run it 2 more times and still nothing. While other ppl after the first week of it being out have the full armor set already
