Seriously though, anyone else? I personally don't have a DoP, but I have an Arminius with Counterbalance and Braced Frame. I got my first Soulstealer's Claw today and while I was upset with the perks, I feel like the recoil is a lot more manageable, even when it's not leveled, than my Arminius. I've seen a few of them around, but not as much as Doctrine. Thoughts?
-
I also have found the claw to work better, since getting it I haven't been beaten the the doctrine nearly as much, but i set it to have as much stability as possible when I'm fighting a doctrine as well.
-
Update, sine I saw a little more activity here recently. Just one of my many "oopsies". I still want to see what I can do with a different roll, but for now I'm messing around with a funky Questing Beast and the vendor Hatchet from last IB.

Edited by PaulEBluebird: 5/5/2016 9:23:53 AMI have one with identical stats to a counter balance, persistence doctrine but different perks, it's much easier to use. Noticeably better. Hand laid or perfect balance and range finder. On my lock.
-
Check my Warlock. It eats Doctrines.
-
High rate of fire autos just arent fun to use, theyre just too easy
-
I wish I had one. Variks only gives me class items and hand of judgements (3 and counting).
-
Negative, I got the Judgment Sparrow and a Class Item.
-
I haven't used mine because I'm reluctant to rely on its melting powers over my pulse rifle from mid range game lol but I was using it today and I think I got a decent one it works for me so far at least that counts for something right?

Edited by KLGChaos: 5/5/2016 6:17:51 AMWhile I haven't gotten a Doctrine, I got a Soulstealer with decent perks. No god roll due to lack of stability perks outside of small bore, but the recoil is still pretty manageable, imo. It would be scary with more stability, which is why I think so many people like it. Just trying to decide between Hidden Hand and Spray and Play.

Edited by Erijian: 5/5/2016 6:24:20 AMI have one with OAS, Perfect Balance, Quickdraw, and Counterbalance/Focused Fire. Overall I'd say it's better than the Doctrine of Passing; but the Doctrine is better over sustained fire.
-
Yep with hammer forged, injection mold, lightweight, and counterbalance. Not great but not bad either imo
-
Its better than doctrine with the right rolls i have both and claw eats everything best gun in the game atm in my opinion
-
Can you only get it from the Variks packages? It's such a pain to get house of judgment rep. Even with the booster I only get about 200 from lvl 41 PoE. I tried soloing 42 challenge but that didn't go very well.
-
I have one with braced frame, persistence, and QuickDraw. It reks. The hunt for it is what brought me back to Destiny, seeing as I never had a Doctrine.
-
Hidden Hand on mine, do well with it.. 😃
-
The recoil on arminius is just terrible, even with the same stability as doctrine.
-
I have one on my lock but the recoil pattern is awful
-
Edited by Psyggie: 5/5/2016 5:07:45 AMI got one with a monster roll it's fun
-
Yeah I got a pretty nice one, on my hunter.
-
Just got one with smallbore, QuickDraw, and rodeo. Idk if its any good though
-
My SSC has hand-laid stock, single-point sling, and persistence. It handles beautifully.
-
I lucked out and got a nice roll soon after thr update. Hadn't heard about it until it dropped. On my titan
-
I have focused fire on mine. Total beast.

Dat thread title doe.
