I have and pay too high of a price for high speed internet, and still I will red bar one game and green bar the very next 5 in a row then red bar again. the whole time I can be monitoring my network speed / upload and download and everything look fine.
sometimes I think it has more to do with the servers and matchmaking settings than it does the players connection.

My Internet bill is outrageous myself because I wanted the 100mb plan I feel like I should downgrade to 15 mb. Straight red bar all day lol

I'm pretty sure that there are 3 reasons for the problems you are seeing: 1. Playing with others from another area (e.g. USA-Germany), it looks like this is happening al lot more because of a shortage of players. 2. Shitty routers(there are a lot of these!!!), bad connections and connections that are used for other things (streaming/downloading etc.) 3. Cheaters. If you want to try something, try the port forwarding explained in the help section.

I'm constantly worrying about my connection and time warner sucks. It's so hit or miss. Glad to know I shouldn't worry which I don't anymore anyway. I just go in and wreck face one match and get murdered another.

Yes. It's really an issue with bungie's shitty networking code. That's why you don't see other shooters with latency issues as bad as Destiny. Considering many online shooters largely share the same player base, if it were an issue with everyones individual home Internet speeds these latency issues would be global with every game that has multiplayer.

couldnt have said it better...the problem has and always been bungies fault...why is it that i can play any and every other multiplayer shooter available and not have connection problems??...this is why i dont do the crucible unless i have to...(bounties quests and an occasional iron banner)..cmon...i dump a whole clip into a guy and then 2 shotgun blasts to the face and nothing...meanwhile i get one shotted by the same guy...and dont give me that my connection sucks (45-50 down 8-10 up)...

^ Someone understands. Seriously, I have excellent internet service and can red bar 5 games in a row during Iron Banner, or regular Crucible matches then continue to be green bar the next 10. Even if we have excellent service, it's the communication to their network and servers. But did no one see the satire tag on this post? >_>
