The previous responder, DarthBufflizzard, makes a week argument with 'Some players can not help their internet services only offer slow connection speeds.' Perhaps that's the case but they can help what they do with those slow connection speeds they have. If the task they wish to undertake requires a faster connection speed than they have available and they know that going forward with the task will have a negative impact on other people participating and they make the choice to go forward anyway, they are victimizing other people. Knowingly. Because they spend the same money as the other person, purchasing the game doesn't give one person the right to negatively impact another person. No one purchasing Destiny is buying the right to be a bully. Furthermore, Red Bar Warriors are universally disliked. People who negatively impact the game to their own advantage like 'lag switchers' are looked down on for a reason. They're considered cheaters. Their booted from games. Your idea that everyone who doesn't like red bar players should stop playing would leave very few people playing at all. A game with only red bar players versus other red bar players. It's not a matter of getting "so worked up about a somewhat laggy crucible match", it's a matter of wanting some integrity from the other people playing the game. If you play while red bar and you know it, you're a cheat. Not only that, you're a cheat who has other options. There's a whole lotta PVE in Destiny. If you're grumpy about this game not having a dedicated server go play a game that does. You'll feel better and no one will miss your red barring ass. Win win.

  • You should back out.... your spelling and grammar are red barring. Very pseudo articulate subjective standpoint though. Look at trumap and tell me cheats never prosper. You speak about integrity on a gaming forum. I just worked out this is satire.

  • Ok so if you were at the end of the raid 4th orbs Oryx and some one said you were red barring you'd just drop? Since that's unfair to the group? I've red barred on a 1gig (Google fiber 1gbps test site) because the host was in Europe. Get over it it's part of online gaming. Rocket league is horrible all the console players sit at 87ping and I get 41 ping on a bad day so console should stop playing rocket league? Eso PvP is well over 300 ping and people still enjoy it. Considering 90 ping is red bar in destiny and anything sub 100 is less than a tenth of a second latency get of your soap box and stop trying too start fires.

  • That's a tough scenario, do you drop? No, but you discuss it with your team and try to get out as soon as you can. We've all been there in the raid when someone, sometimes us, is causing a lag so strong the game is almost unplayable. Frustrating as f+ck!

  • Look. Lag switchers, I'm with you. If you are purposely taking advantage of slow connection to win in a competitive match, that is cheating. But don't just automatically assume that if someone has a red bar, they are the resurrected MechaHittler-Cthulu. Trials and IB are different stories, but don't take laggy regular crucible matches so seriously. Play 3v3. Less lag, less glitch, less salt-tears.

  • No, your right, the red bar might not even know it's themselves who's creating the lag. I'm having that conversation with another guy further down in this thread. But that's not what I'm talking about here, I'm talking about the ones who DO know. You send them a message "you're red barring" and they keep playing anyway. They're messing with other people's games and they know it. Cheating takes many forms including creating a subtle chaos that throws your opponents off their A game. We all want Bungie to fix the issues that are on their side. We paid money we expect to get what we paid for. And it's sad that some folks don't have strong service connections in their area but if that's they case they're just going to have to accept that some things will be beyond their system abilities until things change.

  • Ok dude, have a nice day. If the worst problems in your life are laggy pvp matches, I'm jealous.

  • Thank you, you too. And no need to be jealous.
