HUGE plot hole in Destiny's general storyline!

OK so you know the Darkness? It was described as like the chaser of the Traveler, wanting to destroy it at all costs and all that right? Well, now that it stunned it, then why can't he just blow up the Traveler? It seems pretty exposed to me. Or.. in that 'final battle' described in the grimoire cards, did the death star I mean the Darkness (it could be a death star for all we know) also get stunned and its 'guardians' are the hive or something? Makes little sense to me. Then again, you know, Destiny innit.

  • The darkness is the worst explained part of the entire destiny universe. There has been nothing confirmed on what it actually is or even a likeness to what it is in the grimoire and otherwise. Most describe it as an intangible force almost as if it's just a must floating about, while others describe it as a powerful force. Yet in the Taniks strike variks says "you must stop him from stealing the dark) making it seem like something you can either take or commune with.
