Currently in destiny we have match made competitive multiplayer, which is great but it leaves out the possible enjoyable opportunities that can be created by allowing us to choose who we play against.
There is no true competitive nature because the top players can't get together to compete to see who is better. We need custom matches to fill the void between trials/iron banner and raids/strikes/story missions.
We can't have clan battles. Clans are kind of pointless.
When we complete the current PVE content were left with trials on the weekends, one week a month of iron banner and match made PVP. If we were able to get our raid group together and play 3v3 or get our clan together and face other clans, it would open a huge opportunity for amazing memorable experiences and would bring a more refined competitive PVP experience to destiny. Currently it's very easy to lose interest in what is offered to us guardians.
Bungie, you've made one of the most legendary games out there which had custom games, LAN parties and huge tournaments.. This is what destiny is missing. In year two I think it's time to bring custom games into the picture.
Please remember to bump and respond to this post with feedback so Bungie can see a growing cumulative response regarding the desire for private crucible matches.

Private lobbies are something I too really want to see in Destiny. It's on the Community Wish list and I will continue to push for it. Thanks for continuing to be vocal that this is something that you would really like to see added.

I miss the days of turbo rocket hammers....

$5 for private lobbies! $5 for private lobbies!

Correction clans are pointless. Only thing they give are the names at the side.

It may be a little late to add it , I don't see why they didn't add custom games st launch coming from Bungie .I want to test my friends out in a lobby and just have fun ,doing challenges and stuff .Instead we get trials of mida which I really like but Its getting quite stale over the time ,Its the only reason I still play destiny.

Keep responding about custom game feedback! If enough people want this, it might get added.

Bumping, Destiny needs this! JGibbz

Cozmo may be doing his absolute best, but there is still no real communication for whatever reason. I think there needs to be more back & forth with details Now that he has made contact and shown recognition, it's time to let us know what the devs say. Yes, no, maybe, next year, etc..

Yessss

Bump. Bungie pls do this.
-
Also you can see in the community focus almost every week that those players are all saying they would like to see custom games! Bungie never replies to them though... It's super annoying at this point, there should always be that option in any video game.

Thank you for following through

People will just abuse it. That's what they are best at.

Edited by WINTER PROPHET: 5/6/2016 5:58:33 PMRight on bro. And I'll always support custom matches for any game that has PVP.
Whether or not the narcissistic and duplicitously morose bosses in-charge at Bungie who ignore Cozmo and community input on the "freedom to play custom PVP" ever changes, well that's a different animal all together.

That animal tends to be Luke, who a few friends and I refer to as Bo Bo the sh*t eating monkey.
Agreed

Considering the level of requests this has had from day 1, whatever recode it requires is obviously too hard to code or debug because it would have arrived otherwise. Leave it on the wishlist for Destiny 2 and move on already.

Bump. And regarding the one "valid" argument that people would use custom games to farm bounties ... WHO -blam!-ING CARES?!

Edited by FL NIGHTMARE: 5/6/2016 12:33:55 PMThey should just tell us no its been on that list since launch. That's
