Recently, there has been alot of posts going around about how OP shoulder charge is.
That simply isn't true.
All you need is some map awareness. Quit hardscoping for a few seconds and check your map, this is common sense. If a titan runs at you blink away, shotgun them, fusion them, gun them down from a distance with a primary. They are coming to havoc you or shoulder charge you.
Shoulder charge has not changed at all. It's the same exact thing it's always been. I don't understand why it's so unbalanced now. The majority of people who complain either have barely used a titan in pvp, or don't even have one. Please take a titan for a spin and do nothing but shoulder charge.
You will find that sometimes it won't connect. Some people will live it in trials, and also you will take alot of shotgun blasts to the face.
As soon as shoulder charge is took away, Juggernaut will be the new thing, and you don't want that. Titan shield that makes you immune to bullets and encourages you to rush with a shotgun. Do you really want that over shoulder charge?
Two words.
Risk - Reward.

See, if shoulder charge sent the victims lifeless body flying, thus turning it into a projectile that's capable of dealing damage... That might be a little too much (if not awesome af). But the way it is now is fine. People just find it annoying... Even though its really easy to counter imo. Its a high risk high reward tactic that will likely end in buckshots to the face

Not OP but it does need to be tweaked slightly. Damage I have no problem with but it "locks on" a bit to well. What I mean is if you back away from a charging striker and go around a corner to wait with a fusion, it will proc and bend the strikers trajectory around the corner even in mid sprint. This is the only aspect that is broken. Otherwise fairly easy to counter.

Yet the apparent smoke grenade "wombo combo" is OP
-
Shoulder Charge is a pain in my ass, definitely OP!
-
I used shoulder charge and found my self crutch shotgunned constantly.
-
It's not necessarily OP but it's incredibly annoying, a lot of times I'll shotgun or fusion rifle then dead before they get to me and kill them but they are still bale to get the shoulder charge off and kill me. If you die you should lose momentum and not be able to kill someone no? Also the running away until it's ready then whipping around and killing your pursuer is weak, how can you have momentum if your making a 180 degree turn and immediately using it? Like I said no need to nerf, every class has its perks but the way ppl use it is pretty chicken shit sometimes
-
People still cry about this? Git gud scrubs
-
THANKYOU! bump

It's unbalanced simply because of the way too many mobility options granted to striker Titans, Titan skating, twilight, and shoulder charge after a slide means you can close the gap on someone way faster then blink shot gunning used to be. The only thing they need to do is make it so sliding or using twilight cancels the shoulder charge being ready.

There's nothing wrong with shoulder charge. You either get a quick kill or take a shotgun to the face. As someone who mains a warlock, I've seen much more of the latter than the former.
-
Ram+max armor vw= 207 HP. I love when they SC and don't kill me. Also what are people doing they keep dying to SC? If you're too busy hard scoping or something and complain you get SC, you'd die regardless lol. I mean you're not paying any attention so who's fault is that, how can you complain about someone taking advantage of you not paying attention?

Mk.44 Stand Asides + Shoulder Charge=?
I'll give you the answer when i see you in the Crucible hommie...watch out
-
Shoulder charge is high risk high reward. You honestly can die just as much as kill when rushing with it. Ppl just start whining about every little thing cause they can't handle the crucible.
-
It has always been irritating.
-
I think shoulder charge is fine, granted I almost never play striker because it doesn't fit my playstyle. If I see a shoulder charger I typically focus my anger on them the entire match and teabag them when I kill them to enrage them so they keep trying. I kill them I'm happy, they kill me their happy. Win win.
-
Shoulder Charge is perfectly fine.
Lol, OP is dumb.
-
I don't play my Titan often but I can honestly say I play worse with shoulder charge. I put myself into situations I normally wouldn't.
-
Not forgetting you choose to sacrifice the ability to shoot to close in with shoulder charge.
-
It's vile.
-
Risk? Lol. No. The moment it's charged you get a small window of immunity. The only reason some people feel it's op is because of it being the only no cooldown one hit ability in the game.
-
Who the -blam!- would say anything about shoulder charge. It's the only thing left for a Titan. Leave Titans alone T_T
-
I think maybe it should use your melee charge (after all it is a one shot melee) but otherwise I don't have many problems with it
-
As a Titan. Can say that when I go to shoulder charge someone there's about a 50/50 chance I'll die first
-
I still don't understand how so many people are getting killed by it. Their faces must be glued to their scopes if they can't use a radar. We have it for a reason. If you see a titan glowing blue running at you, shoot at him or run away. It's so simple. Try using a fusion, or a shotgun. Even a sidearm would work! People need to stop complaining.
