As someone who trained Haidong Gumdo (Korean Kendo) for three years now. I agree. It is inferior to european swords! And I am an anime fan but god -blam!-ing damnit do I hate people who praise a sword, which good aspects are the leight weight for it's lenght, without any knowledge! Katanas were good enough to be used against japanese/korean armory. However in comparison to European armory and weapons it fails. It is fun to learn the different styles however lol
