With the election coming down to Trump vs Clinton, I'm am deeply concerned about the country's future. At this rate, I might vote for the green party's candidate. Because let's face it, conservatives in general have done nothing to reduce poverty in the last 10 years, let alone improve the wellbeing of the country itself (I'm not saying all conservatives are this way, I know of Kasich's efforts to improve Ohio). I recommend that everyone back a third party to prevent the rise of Trump, instead of not acting this election season.

I expect to vote Libertarian unless a better option emerges.

Edited by Nate9090: 5/6/2016 6:55:57 PMUnfortunately, voting third party is exactly the same as not voting at all. As far as the presidency goes at least. It can potentially help the third party candidate down the road.

Your idea seems like a good idea, but you disregard that most Americans see voting for a third party as simply wasting their vote, and because of that everyone is gonna stick with the political parties that they actually know about.
Besides, the president actually doesn't have that much power due to the system of checks and balances we have in our government
-
Or we could all vote Trump and actually Make America Great Again, instead of digging it into a really deep hole and pouring cement over it with Clinton or Sanders.
-
Either way we are all gonna die, some people becoming president will just make it happen faster
-
>first year of voting >was exited at first >presented with incredibly shitty list of candidates. >not exited anymore
-
A third party vote is a vote in favor of Trump.
This shit is run by fake Christians, fake politicians Look at they mansions, then look at the conditions you live in All they talk about is terrorism on television They tell you to listen, but they don't really tell you they mission They funded Al-Qaeda, and now they blame the Muslim religion Even though Bin Laden, was a CIA tactician They gave him billions of dollars, and they funded his purpose Fahrenheit 9/11, that's just scratchin' the surface

You better be worried son

I'm voting third party.
-
If I was president, I'd vote for myself.
-
I love everyone with i agree but it's mostly the Democrats/ Republican that just totally missed the point. If your party is only slightly better then the other partys side you just need a new party.
-
Edited by CDay007: 5/5/2016 6:29:39 PMBut why vote third party when I could vote Trump?
-
You say conservatives have done nothing in the last 10 years, yet a Democrat ran this country for the last 8 years.
-
Nah still voting for Trump. Can't stump the Trump.
-
Neither have the Dem's and they have had control of the white house for about 8 of the last 10 years and have had control of congress for like 4 of the 10 years. But I know Bush's fault. lol
