Alright, with Cozmo's recent post about how they are changing around the matchmaking in Cruible again and looking at the comments, I could see that a lot of people want the game to become prioritized by CBMM. I want some numbers so here's this poll. Which one should be put ahead of the other when outside of a ranked playlist or outside of IB and Trials, when playing standard game modes.
Until they get actual servers instead of the p2p system that we currently use then there is no reason to match make without player connection held first. People will say that it's good that lower skilled players don't get matched with Twitch streamers (and I do agree), but that is why companies will usually have noob servers just for them so they can figure the game out and improve. Some of those people for SBMM may also just try to call you out, saying that you (CBMM advocate) can only do good against people who suck and will only be capable of throwing insults and thinking that you can't improve unless you have people the same skill level as you going at you. I like improving myself in whatever it is, video games or real, but in order to improve you need to know how high the bar is set. If I don't know who the guys that will tear my ass apart are, then how will I know how good I have to get? If I don't ever face those guys, how will I ever know that I'm not ready? And here's the main reason why none of the arguments against CBMM or the temporary removal of SBMM are valid to me, how can you know who's good if they are all lagging and teleporting around? It's impossible, especially with a P2P connection. Gotta get your ass handed to you a few times before you can learn how to avoid it.
Please like and comment so that we can try to get their attention, even if it's for Cozmo's generic "I'll tell the devs". I'd appreciate reading your responses regardless of your decision.
