I know. Don't give them anymore ideas for Eververse, but hear me out. The worst part about starting a new character isn't the grind to 40, it is upgrading your sub-classes. I think selling a booster similar to the Vanguard, House Judgement and Crucible boosters would be a good idea. First for all you HAVE to hit level 40 to use a booster AND you have to have a fully upgraded character already (this means having all three sub-classes upgraded). That just makes sense. Once you hit level 40 there are a few ways the booster could work. The first would be you could buy a booster that would fully upgrade ONE sub-class of your choice. If Bungie chose to do this option I would suggest that it cost the most money, I would say $10 (whatever that is in silver) after all you are bypassing the majority of grinding and it seems a fair trade off to skip all that grinding. Another option would be the booster would work like the exotic class items that came with The Taken King legendary edition. It would double your XP towards the sub-class of your choice. You could either make this a class item itself or you could make it like the rep boosters already in the game and have it last x-amount of time. The third option would be a booster that would allow motes of light to be used to boost your sub-class. Again it could be a class item that could be worn or a timed rep booster. Options two and three would probably be the least expensive option in terms of money just depending on the method chosen to apply the booster. If it is a class item then it will probably need to be closer in price to the first option. If the timed booster method is used they could cost less because you could always buy more or get them from a sterling treasure type of item.
