So recently I've been messing around with my Breaker subclass when I discovered something awesome.
With max strength and Simmering Flames active, Melting Point and Thermal Vent charge about as fast as a tier 3 Stoke The Forge.
So I went and tested this in the Prison and it turns out that melts the big boss so long as my teammates know what I'm doing, and while it may not last as long as an actual Shadowshot nor "tether" more than one target, you can use it much more often so long as you don't use your super.
I'm sure a lot of people already figured this out, but I wanted to let more people know :)

People have been using that against golgoroth since september.

We've always alternated between tether and melting point for golgoroth. It's hard to time but I've been on teams were the taken started spawning before we'd finished transferring gaze. If you get a wol in the mix two it's just silly how fast old golgy goes squish.

If I'm correct, shadowshot is 30% while melting point is 50%. Something like that

Weapons of light, tether, and melting point? Do these all work together, seems like a good way to melt omnigul when farming the grasp, I'm gonna have to test it...

Yeah I'm thinking that armor break status effects pull be the solution to DoT. If they caused the target to take increased damage instead of DoT, then there's no more hit and run, nor would it prevent health recovery.
-
And that is why I like Simmering Flames because Melting Point is awesome.

There's so many good ways to play this game but unfortunately you never hear about them because this is the biggest cookie cutter Community I've ever been a part of.

It also has a higher Damage Multiplier
