What we need in this game is a reward system that rewards skill and effort. I keep seeing all these posts about people being afk in strikes and crucible and they get the best rewards, while the people that carry the group get nothing. Bungie needs to implement a reward system that gives something to those that put in the real team effort. Here's the idea:
Everyone starts the match or strike/raid with a base condition for rewards. Everyone has X amount of a chance to get legendaries or exotics. Those players that do better than others or just do good in general, have a multiplier that increases their chance to get a better reward. Right now there is no incentive to do good or even play. If bungie could put this in the game then maybe it would fix a lot of problems that people are having with loot and bad/afk players. I know I'm tired of it, are you?
Edit:
Just thought of some ways that you could improve your chances. In strikes and raids you can increase your chances by killing mobs and/or damaging the boss. That way people won't just sit in a corner or run past everything to get to the end of a strike. There's incentive to actually play it.
For crucible it could be based on how many kills/assists you have or how high your score is. You're not very good and you always go 2-14? That's ok because assists count and at least you tried. They could measure your reward based on how much damage you have done to other guardians.
