The faction battles and exotic shop sound cool. However a taken version of crota, vog and Skolas won't work, thematically speaking (with the forward direction of the story preventing it). But I would suggest a challenge mode of couse to reward the weapons and also maybe upgraded and infusable variants of the relevant armours.
