I roll away.
"I didn't think it through."
I shoot vines at you.
English
-
*I throw an iron ball at you again. The vines grab that and become weights*
-
"Woah!"
-
LEARN your opponent
-
"Learn?"
-
Learn their strengths. *Mortar forms behind you and punches you hard* Their weaknesses.

I pivot around and give you a hook to the jaw

*I take it, then full on tackle you*

I collapse to the ground and my knife fall by my side. You fall on top of me.
-
*I grab the knife and put it in my pocket* What do you do now?
-
I hook you in the side.

*Maya appears from seemingly nowhere, unbeknownst to you from lack of knowledge, it's a Shadow hiding technique,* Hmmm. Stop. That will be all. Mortar. What say you to his fighting techniques? As well as his attitude during the fight? *She folds her hands in front of her and stares at the two*
-
*I dissolve into the stand and reform in front of you* His fighting technique is just throwing it all out. He thinks, just little.
-
And Master Mortar. Do you believe you will be able to help him with that? Or is he untrainable? *Maya asks calmly. Not once looking at Blade during her question*
-
Definitely trainable. He has potential, I'll give him that
-
Very well. I'll take him for his next training. After that will you be so kind as to teach him more specifically?
'after that' as in now or later. Haha
-
Okay. Any suggestions?
-
Hmmm. How about constraint. He seemed a little... Eager. Fighting all out without a thought to later in the fight
-
I did notice that...
-
"That's all? Very well"

*Maya waves her hand into a shadow at her feet. She opens a dark shadowy portal like tear in the air. Within you can see the familiar Shadow Realm.* Shadow Recruit. Do you know the method of opening up an access point? Show me
remember what i said before. It requires a 2D, normal, plain shadow lying on a surface. Place your hand in it and will it to connect to the Shadow Realm.
-
I pull some shadows from in between my toes. I throw it onto the ground like a pancake and touch it. The portal opens and closes for a second before working "Like that?"
-
*Shadow Master Maya seems speechless. A few moments pass before she speaks again. While doing so she reaches out to the access point lying on the ground. She reaches her hand within, confirming it is in fact the Shadow Realm. * That was probably the oddest way I've seen an access point created. But it works.. I'm gonna suggest that maybe instead of being forcible with it. You just consciously allow it to open mid air above the cast shadows where you dip your hand into. Like this. *Maya wills her current access point away as well as yours. She walks behind you and rests her hands behind you in the air. Hovering a few feet above the shadow that is cast behind you from the sunlight. You peek your head around to watch. She flutters her fingers in the air and you seem to notice the air shimmers. Time seems to slow down as you focus on the shimmer. Red and black tendrils of gooey shadows peel out from a few miniscule cracks in the air. The tendrils whip around before latching onto the tiny shimmer seemingly floating just out of reach of Maya's fingertips. The tendrils begin to enlargen and drag the cracks with them as they enlargen the shimmer to a five foot oval like shape. Within the oval (circumferenced by the gooey tendrils still. As if they hold it open) is an entire different dimension staring back at you* Go ahead. Try again Blade. You may continue to be forceful with the Shadows or you may treat them as a friend who needs a bit of guidance. Think of the Shadows as a relationship. Trust them and they'll trust you.
