That would be really cool! Because there's actually a good handful of rare/uncommon gear out there that looks better than alot of legendary gear. The only part that I would say different is that instead of making it possible to infuse rare and uncommon gear up to max light, make it possible to convert the piece of gear into a legendary item, which will then make it possible to infuse it to max level, and it would add in a random roll pf perks.
