While I can kinda get where you're coming from, if you think about it trading would take away from the game experience because exotics that people used to have to work for to get and be proud of them would be exchanged in just a second, and etc but before you know it there won't be much to do anymore because you cheesed your way through and just got all of your gear from a friend without having to do much at all. Now this could just not be that true, but in my opinion it would take more away from the game experience than it would give
