Private groups, private messages, and private group walls are now at the mercy of the Code of Conduct. I understand the goodwill behind some of the new moderation on this site, but it irks me that what is not posted on the forums is still inaccurately labelled "private." While these sections of the site should not be any different than the public facets, they have been before last week. It is shameful to imagine such an ambiguous Code or a pliant moderation team that is unable to obviate an evasion of the rules. I know you all are better than that. You are faithfully serving a crucial administrative role on an obscure social media site. You are not weak people. Do not call what is public "private."

Without knowing the details - and I don't want to, nor would it be appropriate - I have to side with common sense. Why would anyone go out of their way to create trouble for themselves, in this case, the moderators? It's 100% guaranteed the second someone gets sanctioned they or their proxy is here raising the roof over draconian moderation. It doesn't make sense. I ran a forum, I have been a moderator on an MMOG forum, I have some solid experience on this point.
