Why Do People Feel The Need To Hate Games That Are Popular?
Upon hearing of someone's excitement or interest in a popular game, many will immediately express their opinion in an unnecessarily disrespectful way. Why is this?[spoiler]inb4 "because I can do whatever I want" edgy kids[/spoiler]

I think the better question is why do they hate games that aren't in their lives? Why do people go out of their way to hate a game? I'll never understand why
