Events leading to the revolutionary war and the revolutionary war, or everything around the time of the Holy Roman Empire

Wars and generals: Hannibal of Carthage, Patton, Three Kingdoms, China's Unification War, Sengoku Era...even the Cold War, which was more about fear. Ironically, as much as it interests me, it disgusts me too. It's also a history of mans inhumanity to his fellow man: propaganda, ego, and increasingly more effective ways to kill with increased body counts to reflect them. I like origins, cultures, and curiosities too: like the founding of London, the people who inhabited Britain, their rituals and why they did them. Pagan sites in America, Mexican pyramids as far up as Minnesota, steps under the Japan Sea. I like seeing how different cultures influenced others.

The drunk German/Austrian physics of the early 20th century never fail to amaze me. Pictured above (color is photoshopped) are the brains behind the modern world as we have it today. Absolutely astonishing what these people accomplished for science. 19 of them received Nobel Prizes. I wish people like Emmy Noether, Annie Jump Cannon, and Cecilia Payne could have made it in the photo. STEM fields have a serious lack of females in them, and so it may surprise someone to learn that the foundation for modern astrophysics was actually built by female scientists.
