Hello, I've held an interest in photography for quite some time, mainly landscape and just things that catch my attention. My phone (iPhone 6S) has pretty good quality, but obviously deteriorates with the zoom.
I would like to take pictures of nature, cities/streets, and people. An all around camera I guess. So, I'm looking for advice/suggestions for a good camera that will best suit my needs?
Thanks in advance.

Edited by Lord Huron: 5/23/2016 7:07:15 PMI got a used canon XTi rebel (or rebel XTi) and I'm enjoying it. It takes good quality pictures and I don't have much to complain about it. I believe it was a couple hundred with 2 lens and a carrying backpack. Also a macro lens but you wouldn't need that for landscapes. Anyways I'd say get a cheaper Nikon or canon. If you're just getting into it, then a safer bet would be a cheaper bet. Invest in a decent tripod and a remote shutter switch if you want to take low light pics. Lastly, get a decently sized memory card. 8Gb minimum Edit: I'd recommend an external hard drive. That way your computer won't get bogged down by all your pictures. Also, check out flickr.com if you haven't already. Its layout is similar to tumblr, but strictly photography from all different types of people. You can browse other peoples photos for ideas or just to pass the time!
