Best way to farm for LDR 5001 year 2
Just wondering how to get the ldr 5001 an what's the best way to farm for it ?

5 RepliesBefore you open your vanguard package, make sure you have your highest light gear on. Then equip a year one secondary before opening the package. The smart loot system wants to 'fix' your lowest light piece of gear roughly 60% of the time, so by making your secondary the lowest piece of gear you're wearing, it will stack the odds in your favor. I've done this 5 times and got a Longbow, Two to the Morgue twice, and an LDR from the Vanguard rep. It sounds silly but it really works more than it doesn't.

Recently I got a really good LDR with Hidden Hand but I still prefer the Longbow I got with Unflinching

Fastest way is gonna be heroics with a vanguard rep booster.

2 RepliesGet Vanguard rep boosters. Use them. Play strikes. Do all the bounties. The only way to get one is through Vanguard packages.

9 RepliesMake sure to equip a light level 170 special when opening vanguard packages. It's still RNG, but the smart loot systems thinks you need a good year 2 special. That's how I got mine. Opened 20+ to no avail and then when I equipped it first try got one. Check my Titan ;)
