I see... Well... not really, but... I get what you mean, I learned a lot about myself in the past 30 years or so...
-
"I've lived 10,000 years. Or at least I think that I have. That many memories flooding in at once."
-
Oh, that happened to me 13 years ago... I had been a mindless war machine 20,000 years before that. I didn't know what to say, what to do, I just... Let it happen, and I learned a lot.
-
"I'll be back. Hopefully. Just need time."
-
Okay then... I'll send Cadmael in your direction.
-
"What?"
-
Oh, I never told you... After my father died, I was entitled to owning the underworld. After looking around a lot, I found him, starving and cowering, but alive. I nursed him to health, and I planned to bring him up at the right time. Surprise. *Mortar nervously chuckles*
-
My face turns pale "Mor-"
-
It's okay Royal. I will bring him here.
-
"You're gonna what?"
-
Bring him to you. I told him the same thing, after he tried to kill me, which is fair I guess, it took lots of explanation.
-
"I'm confused."
-
What is there to be confused about? He escaped before he was truly dead, and spent most of his life as a runaway
-
"But. And now he's returning?"
-
*Mortar nods* Stay here a few moments if you'd like. *Mortar runs to his house in the mountains*
-
I wait
-
*I return a moment later, practically pulling Cadmael* I'm sure you remember Cadmael
-
"No..."
-
Royal. It's me, Cadmael. It's okay if you don't fully remember, you lost a lot of memories.
-
"No no no no no. That's not possible."
-
How is it not possible? Cadmael, royal, standing right next to each other
-
"He's dead."
-
No, a person is completely dead when their physical and mental forms deteriorate. His physical form deteriorated, but I was able to save his mental state, and bring him back. I'm the ex God of the underworld, I learned to do that a while ago
-
"Oh my gods."
-
Yea, this is a lot to process, but I've done this before. The first time with Crossbow, the second with Wit. He is number five I think
