Hello! I hear that you're looking for a clan! I'm [b]ValiancyPS[/b], the leader of the Cult of Forgotten Light. We're a Playstation only crew who look to have a fun time playing Destiny, as well as pushing back the Darkness at the same time! The Cult of Forgotten Light is a small clan, and we're looking to stay that way! This not only makes it easier to moderate but it means we have a tighter community, which also helps everyone to get to know each other! The first maximum of members we'll have is 100, but this will increase as we get more people in the clan and time goes by. Keep in mind that we are primarily a PS4 clan! But welcome PS3 users with open arms. To connect with each other we use a Discord chat. It's a really easy service to use and a requirement of our clan! If you do get accepted into our clan, we will send you a link to our Discord chat, where you can join and hang out with the other members! In our Discord chat we have four ranks: [spoiler][b]Member [Gray][/b] The default rank, which you'll receive upon joining. [b]Chosen [Blue][/b] Achieved by being active in Discord and helpful towards other players. [b]Elder [Purple][/b] An Admin rank. Given to select people and help the leader make decisions. Look to these guys, along with the Chosen, if you need any help. [b]Leader [Yellow][/b] The leader of the clan, finalizes all decisions and creates most clan material. Such as threads and announcements. [/spoiler] A set expectation for our clan is: You must also be respectful, ethical, and use common sense at all times. This includes when inside the Discord chat. And on PSN chat between any and all members of the clan! As a clan we also have some guidelines for all players, not only within the clan but are thinking of joining [spoiler][b]1: Be respectful to your clanmates and all guardians alike.[/b] This rule summarises itself. Being respectful to all players is a must in this faction. [b]2: Don't discriminate against players.[/b] Race, speech, language, colour, anything. Discrimination in this way is in no way tolerated in this clan. [b]3: Don't discriminate against characters.[/b] Don't leave people out because of their light level, subclasses, or guns. There is no reason not to include them. [b]4: Don't leave people out.[/b] An extension of rules two and three. Don't leave players out because of these attributes, or anything else. [b]5: Make sure to use Discord.[/b] Discord is the chat we use to talk to each other. If you join the clan and don't join Discord you will receive some reminders, ignore these reminders and you will be given the boot... [b]6: Have fun![/b] This is probably the most important rule. If you're not having fun then there's no reason to be here! Everyone can find fun one way or another, whether it be communicating with the clan members or getting a group of people for the raid! [/spoiler] How you join us is quite simple! Go to our clan forum and ask to join, [u]then send me a private message with a short introduction of yourself and answer the following questions[/u]. There is no wrong answers to these questions, and we would love it if you could [u]answer these as truthfully and creatively[/u] as possible. There is no penalty for any answer at all! [spoiler]- What's your PSN username? [i]- How old are you?[/i] - How long have you been playing Destiny for? [i]- What's your forte? (eg. Crucible, PvE, Story Missions)[/i] - Are you a sherpa, or willing to carry people through certain areas? (eg. VoG, King's Fall, Trials of Osiris) [i]- What is your timezone and at what times can you be on?[/i] - If you had superpowers, what would they be? [/spoiler] Other then our expectation and guidelines. We do have some requirements to join the clan. Make sure you fit these requirements before joining and uphold them when you do! [spoiler]- To join the clan you must be enrolled in Discord! This allows us to communicate with each other much easier! And it's a free chat service too! Sadly, if you don't download Discord you will be kicked. [i]- Try to be active within the clan. This really doesn't take much to do either. Just make sure you're on Discord, chatting to the other players, debating or agreeing, finding raids and helping people out! Any way you want![/i] - You must be mature. There's no age cap on this clan, however anyone who joins must be a mature person. That means no trolling. But you can joke around if your fireteam or clanmates agree to it. This also means no swearing within Discord. [i]- You must be on PlayStation, whether that be PS3 or PS4. Sorry XBOX![/i] [/spoiler] But not just what I've said there, we love people who can be active within Discord, as well as friendly and supportive to the other clanmates! So far we don't have any Elder positions filled. I will be sending out applications to some of the people I've originally invited.
