[b]Cadmael stumbles backward [/b]
[u]CROSSBOW! [/u]
[b]Kross jumps onto Mortar's back and Starts punching the side of his head.[/b]

*Crossbow fires an arrow at Gore, and he lets go of Royal to attack Cadmael AND Crossbow* Crossbow... My first victim... *Gore summons a flaming iron ball, so shiny you can see your reflection in it, and hurls it at Crossbow, all while taking the punches and ultimately shaking Cadmael off.*

[b]Royal falls to his Knees and starts gasping for air while Kross (Not Cadmael) is knocked off Gore's back. Kross lands on his back and slowly stands up, while Cadmael flies into the air and fires a beam of light at the flames heading for Crossbow [/b]

*Gore sidesteps, and Crossbow counters the beam, now speeding towards him, with a shadow dragon (Think Overwatch) and runs to Royal* [i]You okay there?[/i]

"Fine. Ugh. Yeah fine." [b]Cadmael flies down to Gore and kicks at him while Kross sheathes his sword and draws the ones on his back [/b]

*Gore seems to look at these people, then shakes his head* Another time. THEN, you will be destroyed. *Gore dissolves into the ground, the fog fading a little just enough to see the twilight once more*

[b]Cadmael lands on the ground gracefully as Kross lowers his swords. They walk towards us[/b] [i]Damn[/i]

[i]Damn is right. Why didn't he kill us on the spot?[/i] *Before you can answer, a man in robes approaches the gate. His skin is charred black*

"Oh great. Well this vacation has gone to shit." [b]Kross readies his sword as he walks over to the figure [/b] [u]Who is this guy? [/u] [b]Cadmael stands with us[/b]

*Crossbow walks up to him* *He looks the figure intently* [i]Wit?[/i] *The figure nods* [b]I've come out of studying to help you with your problem... Don't ask about the skin.[/b] *Crossbow looks relieved* [i]Guys! This is Mortar's, or Gore's, Roommate and best friend. He's been studying that book for weeks, months, and now he's out to help us.[/i]

[b]Kross sheathes his swords, obviously annoyed he didn't get to use them [/b] "Hey Wit!" [spoiler]Do Royal and Wit have a backstory then? [/spoiler] [b]Cadmael helps Royal to his feet and they walk over to Wit.[/b]

[spoiler]No. Mortar and Wit do, but that would be before Royal was born.[/spoiler] [b]Hello. There may be something in this book that can help you here.[/b] *Wit pulls out an old, large, leather-bound book with odd symbols on the front and spine of the book* [b]My Ex-Girlfriend gave me this before we split. I've been studying it since we broke up... Not important, not important. Let's find Gore.[/b]

[b]Kross enters the portal confidently with Cadmael right behind [/b] "Damn you Crossbow. Came here for a short while now I'm stuck."

"Ah well I'm Royal. The guy with the wings is Cadmael. And the guy with the three swords is Kross."

"Are we really going to do this? Because I can always leave." [b]Royal looks at Wit obviously Annoyed[/b] "You'll just have to trust us."

[b]Look, I know it was your vacation, your wind down, I heard Mortar through the wall about you, memories coming back and such, but just remember that no one forced you here, you came on your own behalf, and you can leave when you want. God, it's hot down here.[/b] *It is obvious that everyone except Crossbow is feeling the affects of heat*
