There's a glitch spot to the left of the Mind where you can fly up easily, get perfect cover. No adds. Just shoot the boss.

I used that one all the time for solo NFs. Thought I had to bladedance up there the first couple times for my hunter. NF was so unforgiving but cheesable back then, it was nice and frustrating at the same time.
